The Registrations to the second cycle of Learning in Tourism "Mario Frontoni" are opened. The summer school is organized by
OTIE in collaboration with The Gozo Business Chamber and The Islands and Small States Institute (Malta University). The summer
school will take place from 6th to 10th august at the Institute of Tourism Studies in Qala Gozo. The course is for students
of European universities and beyond.

OTIE organizes a special session at the International Conference on Tourism (ICOT 2012) will take place in May from 23rd to
26th in Archanes, Crete.
Interested parties are invited to submit electronically an abstract of no more than 350 words by April 12th at research@otie.org.
Best papers presented at the special session will be considered for publication in a special issue of European Journal of
Tourism Research – EJTR.

Admissions to the International workshop arranged by OTIE are finally open. The workshop is going to take place on 22nd and
23rd March 2012 at the Comité des Régions, Rue Belliard 101 1040 Brussels, Room JDE 70.The workshop is called: “New Trends
of Tourism in the European Islands”. During these two days, the preview of the First Report on Tourism in the European Islands is going to be presented by the new members of OTIE Technical Scientific Commettee, which will be reconstituted on 21st March 2012 in Brussels. In order to attend the training course, participants must fill in the pre- form and send it with the CV before
